What’s the low down on the Kimes house?
Tuesday
Rough night. Danny had another one of his stomach/side excrutiating pain episodes last night that took us to ER while we were camping. I got completely ready this morning around 2am to finally take him in. I slowly got myself ready waiting to see if he’d fall back to sleep AND trying to figure out who to call to come watch the other two @ 2 in the morning. He did fall asleep in the tv room… so I slept on the couch next to him to keep an eye on his progress. He woke up a couple more times, but then either went back to sleep or moved rooms and fell asleep. He was really fighting it and trying to act like it didn’t hurt because he didn’t want to go back to ER. At 6am, moaning woke me. Very sleepy, I started down our hallway. Danny was in bed, but moving around in pain still, but no moaning. Wasn’t him. Then I heard a moaning “mom”… “mom”… “where are you”… “I can’t find you”. It was Kaycee laying on my bed crying because of a excruciating headache. I quickly got her some meds that she didn’t want to take because her stomach still hurt. She has already thrown up 5 times since Sunday. I told her take the meds or go to ER. She took it and is now feeling relief and watching tv. I am very worried about her. She is skin and bones, very weak and looks awful. And now this headache. Danny fell back asleep. And here I am with coffee writing this email. I’m exhausted, alone, worried & questioning my next move.
Wednesday (Today)
Went to Dr. Sears office for a check on Danny and Kaycee.
Kaycee might be just a viral bug. But, the discussion did keep turning to bug and tick bites from camp. Kaycee does have something around her belly button that she got at camp that is suspect of a bite and is now infected. So we are keeping an eye on her for Lyme Disease and she has been put on antibiotics.
Danny is totally constipated. Just gave him an enema and he pooped tons. That’s not the scary part… he still has a lot more in him! Another one scheduled for tomorrow morning. Oh the fun. Then we return @ 2:30 to see the infamous Dr. Bill Sears to have a re-check. If it’s not all coming out, we might have to do a hospital visit for more cleaning out. Pray he will continue to poop! lol… He is also on medication to assist and will continue that for months. Also, major diet changes again. Still don’t know if this is what has been causing his extreme pain, but this is what we found and where we are at right now.
Spotted more pics of Katrina at camp. Also spotted our worship intern Grant who is playing at Sugarpine for 2 weeks. Very cool treat for our wacc kids because Grant is just awesome!
